Death and carnage is the best way to describe this break. One of the heaviest waves in Indonesia DC’s has been the scene of some of the most horrific accidents in surfing. Our guide Dave Simons has broken his back there, Joel Parkinson has been knocked unconscious and the list goes on. Needless to say we don’t often surf here unless it is one of the two or three days a year when the highly experienced surfer would be willing to have a crack. Located 35 minutes from the lodge.
