Surf Report April 12

Posted: April 12th, 2010 | Author: Marine Operations

Despite our best efforts to drink up the swell last night the forecast rise has been a little slow in showing and this morning it's around 3-4 feet on the bigger sets but mostly in the 3 foot range. It's the last day for group 5 and they are due to exit on the plane at 11.00 so all (who had full function of the body) have headed off for one last blast at the left hander. It's sunny at the moment and hopefully the weather holds for a neat change-over between group 5 and 6. The pic above is from earlier in the week when serial pest and self affirmed wave-hog John Halpin rode his millionth wave through the inside at Max's left. The pic below is our guide Steve Firkin bottom turning into the wave of the week at GT's. For a full wrap up of the week make sure you checkout the Coastalwatch Indo Video Swell Journal tonight.
